Creating a WISE Account

All users should create their own WISE account. Teachers need to create a teacher account to access the complete WISE curriculum library and set up units to use with their students. Teachers accounts provide access to the WISE teacher tools and curriculum authoring environment. Students will need to create an account to access and complete units assigned by their teachers.

Creating a Teacher Account

  1. Go to the WISE Home Page.
  2. Select the Register link at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the Teacher account type.
  4. Choose to sign up with your email or with your Google Account.
  5. Fill in the registration form and select a password (if you are not signing up with Google). Submit the form.
  6. If you created an account using your email, you will be given a username that you will need to remember. (Your username will be your first name and last name with no space in between. For example, JaneDoe. There may be a number added at the end of your username if someone has the same name as you.)

Creating a Student Account

  1. Go to the WISE Home Page.
  2. Select the Register link at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the Student account type.
  4. Choose to sign up with your email or with your Google Account.
  5. Fill in the registration form and select a password (if you are not signing up with Google). Submit the form.
  6. If you created an account using your name, you will be shown a username that you can copy and will need to remember. (Your username will be your first initial and last name, followed by the day and month of your birthday. For example: JDoe0101. There may be a letter added at the end of your username if someone has the same name as you.)

Signing in to WISE

If you created a WISE account using Google:

  1. Go to the WISE Home Page.
  2. Select the Sign In link at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap the “Sign in with Google” button.
  4. You will be asked to select your Google account. Choose the account you used when creating your WISE account.

If you created a WISE account using your email or name:

  1. Go to the WISE Home Page.
  2. Select the Sign In link at the top of the screen.
  3. Enter your username and password and tap the “Sign In” button.

Forgot Username or Password

If you forget your login information, you can use the Forgot Username or Password tool to retrieve it.
